SWAGºÏ¼¯Giving Day – Let’s make konzo disappear

A record number of students, staff, alumni and friends raised over $85,000 through the SWAGºÏ¼¯Giving Day appeal to help prevent the disease konzo.

All funds raised directly support educational programs run in partnership with the National Institute of Nutrition in the Democratic Republic of Congo to teach villagers Dr Bradbury's affordable "wetting method". Dr Colin Taylor, Director of Principal Gifts, said that the SWAGºÏ¼¯Giving Day shows the power of the SWAGºÏ¼¯community: "It was wonderful to see so many members of the SWAGºÏ¼¯community come together to support SWAGºÏ¼¯research that has a global impact."
